Bovingdon Catheter

The Bovingdon silicone ballooned catheter can be used for a number of investigations by physiotherapists and other practitioners specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of lower bowel dysfunction.

In addition to rectal sensation testing and training, the Bovingdon catheter is also suitable for both intra-vaginal and anorectal pressure biofeedback training.

The 70mm shaped silicone balloon is fitted to either a 1000mm PVC catheter tube, and a proximal 3-way tap.

The balloon may be inflated with air or water up to a capacity of 500ml.  The Bovingdon ARC catheter is available in a box of 25x catheter packs each containing a 1000mm catheter and 50ml syringe.
