Stoma Dilators
The DILASTOM® stoma dilator is a medical device specifically designed so that patients may carry out home treatment for cutaneous and fascial colostomy stenosis with complete safety and convenience.
Many colostomy cases are trouble-free for the patient. However, complications can occur. Between 8 and 10% of cases (collated global data) result in stenosis or stricture of the stoma lumen. Dilator therapy can stop the progressive stricture of the external colostomy orifice and if correctly applied, reverse the process.
Anal Dilators
Anal dilators Plus are available in 5 different sizes and can be used for a variety of treatments and pathologies. Each sealed dilator contains a thermal jelly which, when heated or cooled, maintains the dilator’s temperature during use.
Our anal dilators are cryo-thermal and may be used for differing pathologies when advised by a physician. Dilatan vegetable lubricating cream is also available and facilitates the insertion process.
